The world's cutting-edge medical device achievements are shining in Pengcheng.From October 12th to 15th, the 90th China International Medical Equipment Fair (hereinafter referred to as “CMEF”) was held at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center (Bao'an). The theme of this CMEF is “Innovative Technology, Wisdom leads the Future”, which lasts for 4 days and covers an exhibition area of nearly 200,000 square meters.During the exhibition, nearly 60 forums and conferences were held at the same time, and nearly 600 industry experts, industry elites and opinion leaders gathered in Pengcheng to bring a medical feast of cutting-edge analysis and insight into the future to the global health industry.

Famous CMEF companies gathered this year. The exhibitors covered the entire industrial chain of the medical device industry such as medical imaging, in vitro diagnostics, and medical electronics. Tens of thousands of products integrating cutting-edge technologies such as AI, big data, and cloud platforms were displayed centrally, showing the innovative strength of high-end medical equipment.In terms of exhibition areas, the exhibition has set up 14 major exhibition areas such as medical imaging, in vitro diagnosis, medical electronics, medical optics, hospital construction, operating rooms, disinfection sensing and control, medical consumables, orthopedics, etc., presenting a panoramic view of the entire medical industry chain.

The booths of medical imaging, radiation therapy, remote diagnosis and treatment, surgical robots, etc. were crowded.Among the many achievements of cutting-edge medical devices around the world, there are both “big guys” with medical images that occupy a few square meters and “small and beautiful” ventilators.Among them, there are not a few domestic high-end medical device products with labels such as “the world's first”, “the first domestic product” and “the only one in the industry”.

As the “star exhibition area” of CMEF, the medical robot exhibition area brings together a variety of new products independently developed in China, including orthopedic joint surgery robots that break the long-term monopoly of imports and can cover the hip and knee joints independently developed at the same time; the first domestic approved navigation+automatic execution of orthopedic intelligent surgery system and other products.

From ventilators and sleep machines to artificial intelligence medical imaging and surgical robots, domestic medical devices are striding into high-end “competitive platforms”.In recent years, with the increase of policy support for high-end medical device innovation, the approval process for medical device innovation has been further accelerated, which will help more domestic high-end medical devices with independent property rights to go to market quickly.

Build a global medical device industry integration platform

This CMEF closely follows the industrial policy. In addition to setting up a number of subdivided exhibition areas, it has also held sub-brand exhibitions in a series of hot areas such as “Medical device design and manufacturing”, “Smart Health”, “Emergency rescue” and “Pet health” to provide an international platform for the global medical and health industry to integrate display, exchange and cooperation, and create a whole industry chain ecosystem covering from the source to the terminal.

As an innovative sub-brand launched by CMEF, the 37th China International Medical Device Design and Manufacturing Technology Exhibition (ICMD) focuses on the upstream supply chain of medical device manufacturing, bringing together more than 500 domestic and foreign upstream companies and more than 10,000 products.
